Rocket City Marathon The Rocket City Marathon has been a fixture in North Alabama for over 40 years. Enjoy a flat, Boston qualifying course that runs through parts of historic Huntsville, through the Space & Rocket Center, through the Botanical Gardens, and finishes inside the Von Braun Center. We are also the 2022 RRCA Alabama State Championship race for the marathon.
